Voices from the bridge: The bridge seen from inside – episode II

More than a thousand people were involved in the construction of Genoa’s Ponte San Giorgio. Engineers, technicians and workers all performed with excellence and outstanding quality on behalf of the Webuild Group which, together with Fincantieri, built the bridge. Their stories, their extraordinary commitment, the expectations surrounding this infrastructure are covered in this podcast, which reconstructs the various roles in the construction of a major work.

Hundreds of men and women worked day and night, often without rest, even during the months of the lockdown imposed by the spread of Covid-19. Thanks to their commitment, the Ponte San Giorgio was completed in record time and, in August 2020, the bridge was handed over to the city of Genoa.
